Alongside the world’s leading collections of work by Berthe Morisot and Claude Monet, the Musée Marmottan Monet also has a sizeable holding of modern art: the Impressionists feature prominently, with Caillebotte, Degas, Pissarro, Renoir, Sisley and Rodin, as do their precursors: Boudin, Corot, Delacroix and Jongkind. Post-Impressionism is represented by Gauguin alongside Signac, Lemmen, Maurice Denis, while Chagall represents the modernist period.
