This gallery (400 square metres) was designed to house the world’s biggest collection of paintings by Monet. Around the iconic Impression, Sunrise, some hundred masterpieces bequeathed by the painter’s family – landscapes around Argenteuil, Rouen cathedral, a unique ensemble of water-lilies and views of the garden in Giverny – offer an unmatched panorama of work by the leading figure of Impressionism.

The Paul Marmottan dining room is the most prestigious room in this mansion in Rue Boilly, a superb space decorated with furniture in precious wood, a crystal chandelier and rich gilt bronzes. Hung with works by Gauguin, Renoir, Caillebotte and other great Impressionist masters, it will bestow a unique charm on your dinners.

Dominated by two Osiris–Antinous figures from the Palais Beauharnais and a Ganymede attributed to the School of Canova, the main landing has openings onto all the museum spaces, from the salons of Paul Marmottan to the temporary exhibition gallery. It is the ideal setting for breakfasts and for drinks to welcome guests at your grand receptions.
